Ms. Doris Lambert Shaw, 87, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, Mississippi. Doris was born July 1, 1933, in Liberty, Mississippi to George and Myrtis Catt Lambert.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 10AM until service time at 11 AM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS with burial in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Crozier will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Doris retired as a seamstress at Kellwood Manufacturing. She loving aunt, great aunt and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. She loved spending time outdoors and gardening. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, MS. Doris will be missed by everyone.

Doris is survived by her nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and great nephews.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
