Donnie Bruce Douglas, 65 was called home from this life on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at his residence in Sontag, MS. Mr. Douglas was born June 29, 1950 in Brookhaven, MS.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Shiloh Baptist Church from 10 am until 12 pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday March 2, 2016 at 12 pm. The graveside service will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Brother Ed King will be conducting the services.

Mr. Douglas was a graduate of Monticello High School and Copiah-Lincoln community college. He was well known in Sontag for owning and running Douglas Grocery for 33 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family (Especially his kids and grandkids), and friends. He also enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and working in his garden. He also loved his church and church family.

Surviving Mr. Douglas is his wife Liz Douglas, step mother Aileen Evans, sons Brian Douglas and Carey (Reaver) Douglas (Nikki), Brother Clayton Douglas (Marisa), Sister Beth Cliburn (Ricky), and grandchildren Baylea and Connor Douglas. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents J.B.and Edda Mae Douglas.
