Ms. Donice Irene Beasley, 96, of Monticello, MS passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS. Donice was born December 29, 1923, in Lawrence County, Mississippi to Kinzie Jackson and Jeanette Georgianna Reid Letchworth.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Monday August 10, 2020 at Wanilla Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Vosbrink will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Donice worked as a beautician for over 30 years, after retiring she and her husband owned and operated the Green Thumb Nursery in Monticello, MS. Donice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. She was a faithful member of Wanilla Baptist Church for many years.

Donice is survived by her son Michael Beasley (Margaret) of Monticello, MS; grandson Brad Beasley (Stephanie) of Monticello, MS; granddaughter Leigh Ann Neal also of Monticello, MS; one brother Kenzie Letchworth; 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband John Robert Beasley; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
