Donald J. Davis, 74 of Jayess, MS passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 at his residence in Bogalusa, LA. He was born Thursday, September 28, 1950 in Lawrence County, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 08, 2025 at  2:00 PM with burial to follow at Tilton Methodist Church Cemetery in Divide, MS. Bro. Jay Thompson and Bro. David Browder will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-587-2573
Donald was a quiet and reserved man that was always willing to help anyone in need.  He was known as a hard working man and didn't believe in being idle. Donald was always known to put in an honest day's work.
He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Davis; mother, Flora A. McNeese Davis; brothers, George T. Davis and Floyd G. Davis.
Survivors include his nephews, Tommy Davis and Johnny Davis;  niece, Angela Cothern; 4 great nieces; 1 great nephew; 3 great-great nieces, and 3 great-great nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
