August 29, 1946 – March 16, 2025
Ms. Eliece Dianne Golmon Wilson, a native of Moss Point, Mississippi, and resident of Monticello died March 14, 2025 at Lawrence County Nursing Center in Monticello, MS.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello where she enjoyed being a part of the choir, singing the praises of her Lord. She enjoyed teaching children and going on mission trips to share the love of her Lord with others. Ms. Wilson was a hairdresser and had also worked at Hudson Drug Store in Monticello and worked as a seamstress at garment plants in Brookhaven, Monticello and New Hebron.
Ms. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband, Berry Douglas Wilson and daughter, Eliece Kim Wilson Rogers; her parents, Rev. Jewell Sidney Golmon and Lena Justice Golmon; five sisters, Shirley Jeanette Golmon, Juanita Golmon Hammond, Geraldine Golmon Shoemaker, Edna Earle Golmon Trigg, and Charlotte Golmon; three brothers, Warren L. Golmon, Robert Truett Golmon, an Dr. Lowell Davis Golmon.
She is survived by five sisters, Glenda Aube, Billie June Peeler (Bill), Melba Cox, Rita Feduccia (Bob) and Renee Guy (Wade); two brothers, Mark Golmon and Anthony Wayne Golmon (Elaine); three grandchildren, Matthew Rogers, Cory Rogers, and Samantha Rogers Barnett; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Ms. Wilson will be held on Wednesday, March 19, from 9AM until the funeral service at 11AM at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS with Rev. Michael Smith, Rev. Billy Duncan (nephew of Ms. Wilson) officiating; Bro. Philip Alford, minister of music; and with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
