Mr. Devin Wayne Mullins, 28, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. He was born September 22, 1993 in Brookhaven, MS.

Visitation will be held at Bethel Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 13, from 5 until 9 PM. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM; graveside services will follow at the Rutland Family Cemetery, Monticello. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Devin loved his family, especially his children. From the time he was a child, he wanted to work in law enforcement. He fulfilled this dream by earning his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and working for the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Devin is survived by his mother, Melinda Rutland; his children, Kyla Marie Mullins, Karleigh Gail Mullins, David Karter Mullins, and Dayston Carter Wall; his fiancée, Kelsey Wall; his grandmothers, Johnnie M. Rutland and Ann Hyde; two special aunts, Connie Lynn Freeman, and Charlotte Clark; also cousin, Nicole Ballard; his paternal aunts and uncle; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Mullins; and by his grandfathers, Edward Earl Rutland and Paul Mullins.
