Dennis “Mike” Smith, Age 72, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at home. Mike was born on December 8, 1953, in Monticello, MS to his parents, Vernon “Pete” Smith and Johnnie Evelyn Evans.
A time of visitation will be held at New Zion Baptist Church in New Zion, MS on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5-9 PM.
Funeral services will be conducted at New Zion Baptist Church on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11 AM. Interment will follow in New Zion Church Cemetery. The officiating minister is Bro. Johnny Calcote. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
