Mr. Danny "Phil" Hodges, 58, of Jayess, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his residence. He was born on September 1, 1962 in Tylertown, MS, to James Delos Hodges and Alice Juanita Walker Hodges. He enjoyed spending time with his great nieces and nephews, Abby, Travis, Emily, Kaylee, Fisher and Kal. He also enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, collecting antique items and helping anyone in need. He was a friend to all who knew him.

Preceding him in death were his parents Delos and Alice Hodges; sisters, Cherry Miller; brothers, Donald Hodges, Thomas Hodges and Bobby Hodges.

Survivors are his sisters Norma Dunaway (Jerry), Linda Humphrey (David), Judy Webb (Paul) and Terri Alexander (Terry); brothers Joe Hodges, Ricky Hodges (Chris), Lane Hodges and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, June 26 at 2:00 PM.
