Danny Lamar Alexander went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2024. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending a lot of his time fishing and hunting. Being a carpenter, he enjoyed building things and woodworking. Many of his hobbies include watching Nascar, westerns, and football, his favorite team being the Dallas Cowboys. Some of his other hobbies are looking for arrowheads, playing pool, and watching sunrises and sunsets. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often sitting by a fire listening to his favorite music.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 from 12:00 PM until memorial services at 2:00 PM at Tilton Church (663 Hulon Brister Road Monticello, MS 39654).

He was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Alexander and mother, Christine Alexander.

He is survived by his daughters Carla Carney Shumaker (Jason), Krystal Alexander, and Danielle Alexander White, grandchildren, AJ Russell, Jaslynn White, Jace Shumaker, Kaitlyn Hughes, Madie White, Abie Hughes, Alex Hughes, and Karter White. He is also survived by sisters Sherry Gieger (Mike), Patricia Brumfield (Jim), Donna Miller, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
His smile, humor, and love for playing pranks will always be missed.
