Dana Ballard Letchworth, 63, of Jayess, Mississippi passed away on September 22, 2026, at UMMC Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Dana was born in Mississippi to her parents, Henley Ballard and Ruby Dunaway Ballard.

A time for public visitation will be held from 5-8 PM at Tilton Church on Thursday, September 24, 2026 with words being shared at 6 PM. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Dana loved spending time with her family and especially during the holidays. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. Dana took pride in everything she did. She will be greatly missed.

Dana was preceded in death by parents, Henley and Ruby Ballard.

Dana is survived by her husband of 44 years, Timothy Letchworth; daughters, Lacey Letchworth and Courtney Smith; grandchildren, Gabe Letchworth, Will Jones, and Adalyn Smith; aunt, Diane Summers; three brothers, Heath Ballard, Toby Ballard, and Adam Ballard; and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.
