Mr. Dalton L. Wallace, 82, of Monticello, MS passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Merit Health Central Hospital in Jackson, MS. Dalton was born July 22, 1937, in Jayess, MS to Troy and Dezzie Wallace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS and on Friday, December 13,2019 from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Divide Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello, MS, with graveside services following in Tilton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ladon Dawson and Bro. Carlos Dawson will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Dalton was a long time member of Divide Methodist Protestant Church and was a Gideon. He loved his Lord and his children and grandchildren.

Dalton is survived by his wife Artelia Wallace of Jayess, MS; children, Todd Wallace and wife Anna of Olive Branch, MS, Renee Shaffer of Orange Beach, Al, Brian Wallace and wife Tina of Richland, MS; grandchildren Ashley Covington, Amber Sawyer, Nicole Smith, Jason Wallace, Cody Wallace, Caitlyn Wallace, Krystal Wallace, Caleb Wallace, Ashley Vaughn, Emily Cole, Landon Cole, Jordan Wallace and Janee Wallace; 11 Great Grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ladon Wallace and Darry Wallace and sister Glenda Rutland.

Those preceding him in death were his parents, wife of 52 years Bobbie Jean Carney Wallace and one son Larry Keith Wallace.
