Mr. Dale Smith, 76, of Pattison, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Dale was born December 14, 1947 in Lawrence County, Mississippi to Pete and Johnnie Evelyn (Smith) Strong.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 12 PM until 2 PM with Graveside services following in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello. Bro. Wayne Killingsworth will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Dale is survived by his sister, Kathy Culpepper (Shelton) of Laurel, MS, brothers, Mike Smith (Kerri) of Monticello, MS and Terry Strong (Kay) of Oakvale, MS; nephews, Brian Battle (Brittany) and Damien Strong and niece, Linzi Blacklidge (Greg) and great nephews, Nick, Chris and Matthew Battle and Mason Cosper.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Hugh Vernon Strong brother, Bobby Smith and nephew, Jason Strong.
