Funeral services for Daisy Rae Stephens will be on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Bro. Michael Smith will be officiating the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Friday on December 14,, 2018, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Monticello, MS.
Mrs. Stephens, 93, of Monticello, MS, passed from this life on December, 12, 2018, at Lawrence County Hospital. She was born on January 4, 1925 in Lawrence County, MS, to Benjamin Franklin and Audrey Catt Daughdrill. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts when she could and loved to eat. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and friend. Daisy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and loved the church and the church family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Victor L. Stephens; son, Robert Gerald Hunt; sisters, Louise Griffith, Inez Lee, Anita "Tweet" Boone, Nell McNease, and Bennie G. "Bea" Bass; granddaughter' Brandi Lee Stephens Smith; sister-in-law, Frances Jenkings.
Survivors are her son Jackie Lee Stephens and wife Tanya of Monticello; grandchildren, Angel and husband Brandon Allred, Ashley Michele Bardwell; great grandchildren, Lilliann Belle Smith, Trace, Brystol and Evan Allred; sister-in-law's, Elaine Braswell, Linda Goins and Alice Cliburn; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
