Ms. Daisy Mae Barr, 95, of Monticello, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence in Monticello, Mississippi. Daisy was born December 6, 1925, in Lawrence County Mississippi to George and Myrtis Catt Lambert.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11 :00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, Mississippi. Bro. Kevin Crozier will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Daisy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was very active in her church, she was a kind-hearted woman who enjoyed caring and providing for others, especially close friends and family. Daisy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, Mississippi. Daisy will be missed by everyone.

Daisy is survived by her daughter Joyce Johnson of Hattiesburg, MS; son Glenn Wiltcher (Diane) of Houston, TX; one sister Doris Shaw of Monticello, MS; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband Harrell Barr; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
