Cynthia B. Dequeant was welcomed into Heaven on February 4, 2016, at the age of 58. Cindy was born in Gretna, Louisiana, to Adeline Duval Bishop and the late Ellis Bishop as the fifth of six children. She was a resident of Silver Creek, Mississippi, for the past 24 years.

On July 18, 1981, she married her best friend Thomas Dequeant. They were blessed with three children: Brandy Wimbrow, wife of Jason Wimbrow (Jayess), Sherri Ervin, wife of Delane Ervin (Sontag), Thomas Dequeant, husband of Gonca Firat (England). She cherished her seven beautiful grandchildren.

Cindy was a devoted employee of the Magee Wal-Mart for the past 15 years where she formed beautiful friendships. She adored her time spent fishing with her husband and making memories at Mardi Gras with her family.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, children, and mother.
