Cheryl Sue Lambert Rodgers, 66, was called home from this life on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at her residence in Deer Park, TX. She was born December 29, 1948 to John W. and Bobbie Wallace Lambert.
Visitation will be at Divide Methodist Protestant Church in Monticello, MS on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of services at 2:00 PM. The graveside service will follow the visitation in Divide Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Rev. Ladon Dawson will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She worked as a college professor and served as the Director of the Interactive Learning Center at San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX. She enjoyed reading and antiquing. She was an avid gardener that loved taking care of her plants. She loved to travel and really enjoyed going on cruises.
She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and aunt.
Survivors are daughter, Amanda Jean Rodgers of Deer Park, TX; parents, John W. and Bobbie Wallace Lambert of Jayess, MS; brother, John A. Lambert and wife Ginger of Pasadena, TX; nephews, Paul Lambert and wife Katy of Austin, TX, and Eric Lambert and wife Kimmy of Houston, TX; step-niece, Brittany Waters of Pasadena, TX; great niece, Luisa Anne Lambert; great nephew, John E. "Jack" Lambert; and a host of family and friends.
