Charlie Francis Gill, 76 was called home from this life on Saturday, April 02, 2016, at his residence in Silver Creek, MS. Charlie was born April 21, 1939 in Marion County, MS.
There will be a time of visitation from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Monday, April 04, 2016, at Oakvale Baptist Church with the Service Tuesday 05, at 11:00 AM The graveside service will be held in Hepzibah Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Brother Eddie Myers will be officiate the services.
Mr. Gill was a retired truck driver. In his retirement he enjoyed going to the Oakvale Store and visiting with people as they would come and go, he was called by many the Mayor of Oakvale.
Surviving Charlie is his wife, Jimmie Louise Johnson Gill of Foxworth; sisters, Jewel Bryant of Silver Creek and Mary Stuckey of Columbia.
Proceeding him in death is parents Robert E. and Ida Mae Prine Gill, four brothers Robert, Billy, Joe, Willie Gill and one infant sister Evelyn Gill.
