Mr. Charles Vance Turnage, 62, of Silver Creek, MS passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Southwest Medical Center in McComb, MS. Charles was born April 8, 1961, in England to Charlie and Catherine Rogers Turnage.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2023 from 9 AM until 11 AM at Wilson Funeral Home with funeral services at 11AM. Bro. Flavol Rester will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Chuck was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed sci-fi shows and Star Trek.  He collected guns and loved working on many things.  He was a gifted carpenter. One of his favorite sayings was, "I'm glad you got to see me".  Chuck loved to joke and laugh a lot.  He wasn't a picky eater. He loved visiting and talking with everybody. Chuck never met a stranger.

Charles is survived by his wife; Yumi Turnage of Silver Creek, MS; daughter, Ginger Turnage; son, Kane Shiyou, daughter, Maegan Turnage; a brother, Curtis Turnage; a sister, Lelia Sutton; grandkids, Scarlett, Joseph and Nora Jacobs, and Mya and Andrew Caldwell.

Charles was proceeded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary McPhail.
