Charles "Ted" Theodore Thompson, 84 was called home from this life on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at his residence in Monticello, MS. Mr. Thompson was born May 1, 1931 in Columbia, MS, to Robert E. and Mary Sauls Thompson. He served in the United States Navy for seventeen years
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 23 2016, at Wilson Funeral Home from 5:00 -8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Sunday January 24 2016 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. Brother Winston Fortenberry officiating. The graveside service will follow in the Thompson Family Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Thompson loved hunting and fishing spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors are his five children, Debbra Walker, Diane Smithey, Daniel Thompson , Jenelle Brown and Larry McCamon, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and his brother Bobby Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. and Emily Sauls Thompson, and his wife Jean Thompson.
