Ms. Cathy Marie Flanagan, 45, was called home from this life on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, MS. Cathy was born October 25, 1970 in Hazlehurst, MS to James William and Elaine Rollins Flanagan.

The funeral service will be at 3pm on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS, with a time of visitation on the same day from 1 PM until time of the service at 3pm. The graveside service will follow in the Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Brothers Jimmy Harvey and Calvin Abrams will officiate the services.

Ms.Flanagan was a nurse at Mississippi State Hospital in the Jaquith Nursing Home Division. She loved her puppy and loved her patients. She loved to travel with her family and spend time as much as possible with them. She was a very caring person and loved by the people that knew her, and will be greatly missed.

Surviving Cathy are her parents, James William and Elaine Rollins Flanagan; brother, Thomas Flanagan and wife Laura; sister-in-law, Deborah Flanagan; niece, Ashley Bowman; nephew, Jacob Flanagan; and great nephew, Logun Smith.

Preceding her in death is her brother, James William Flanagan Jr.; and her grandparents, Lucian and Ladue Rollins and J.B. and Ethel Flanagan.
