OBITUARY

Ms. Carolyn H. White 88, of Denham Springs, Louisiana formerly of Nola, Mississippi passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at her daughter's residence in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Carolyn was born December 24, 1934 in Nola, Mississippi to Earl and Virgie Mae Herrington.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 18, 2023 from 12:00 until 2:00 at Wilson Funeral Home with funeral services at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Sontag, MS. Bro. Brad Delaughter will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Carolyn is survived by her children: Daughters: Melinda Tyrone, Theresa Crosby and Carrie Speights and Sons: John White and Jessie White; Grandchildren, Marlana Howington, Ricky Erwin, Blake Crutchfield, Alyssa Davis, Bryce Pendergrass; Great grandchildren, Lacy Erwin, Jaxson Howington and Evie Rose Howington.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband John E. White, Jr., and Brothers: Jimmy, Joe, and Ed Herrington; Grandchildren, Austin White and Faith White

Ms. White was a gardener and loved working in the garden. She began singing at an early age, played the guitar, and sung with her brother Ed. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain guests.
