Carl E. Smith,69 was called home from this life on Friday, March 4, 2016 in Brookhaven MS. Mr. Smith was born December 31, 1946 in Tylertown, MS to Clarence Smith and Jessie Mae Watts.
Visitation will be on Sunday March 6, 2016 from 5pm until 9pm at Carmel Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 1pm at Carmel Baptist Church. The graveside service will follow in the Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Reverend Robert Dunn will be conducting the services.
Mr. Smith worked in the pipeline industry, Union 798 for fifty years. After retirement he enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.
He is survived by his children Angela Smith of Macon, MS, Jeannie Smith of Philadelphia, MS and Carl Smith Jr. and wife (Kendyl) of Brandon, MS. Sisters: Peggy Vince, Cathy McNeese, Betty Blakeney, and brother Larry Smith. He has ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews, also friend Betty Ferrell.
Preceding in death by his parents Clarence Smith and Jessie Mae Watts and brother Tommy Smith.
