Carl M. Hedgepeth, 73 of Jayess, MS , died Wednesday,June 11, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS. Burial will be in Roberts Memorial Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello, MS is in charge of arrangements. 601-587-2573

Carl lived with Charlie and Bessie Turner in Jayess for many years. He was a very special Uncle to Charlie and Bessie Turner and Darrell and Tina Turner of Silver Creek, MS. He also leaves behind his special great nieces and nephews Sam and Lesa Cothern and son Caleb Rutland, Daniel, Christy, Hunter and Jake Turner all of Jayess. Cody, Hailey and daughter Emmarie Turner and Cade Turner all of Silver Creek.
Carl loved to be outdoors doing something. He loved to work in the garden and take care of what ever needed to be done around the house. He loved all animals cats, dogs, livestock it didn't matter. He was also a great cook who got great pleasure from preparing special meals for the family. Carl also was a hard working gentleman who loved life.
