Brenda Joyce Martin Davis, 71 was called home from this life on February 12, 2017, at her residence 621Olympic Drive Flowood, MS 39232. Brenda was born August 3, 1945 in Jeff Davis County, MS to Garlon Martin and Laverne Polk Martin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello and continuing Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services following in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Prentiss, MS. Bro. Ricky Gray will officiate the services, with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Surviving Mrs. Davis are her husband Emmett Reid Davis of Flowood, MS; son Anthony "Tony" Gamble of Purvis, MS; daughter Cynthia Heidemeyer of NJ; son Emmett R. Davis, Jr. of LA; son Timothy Clay Davis of MS; daughter Stacy Sauls Thornhill of MS; one brother Darrell Martin of MS; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents Garlon and Laverne Polk Martin.
