Bobbie Wallace Lambert, age 88, of Jayess, MS passed away February 2, 2019 in McComb, MS. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, with graveside services immediately following at Divide Methodist Protestant Church Cemetery.

Our beloved mother was born August 23, 1930, in Jayess, MS, to the late Troy and Dezzie Dalton Wallace.  She was an enthusiastic collector of beautiful plants, flowers, and antiques.  At one time she was a beautician, owning her own salon.  Her life was filled with many interests such as ceramics, needlepoint, sewing, cooking and entertaining.  She had a great interest in her family history and enjoyed collecting old family photos.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, John Wesley Lambert, her daughter Cheryl Sue Rodgers; as well as her brother, Troy J Wallace and sister, Genell Wallace Nelson.

She is survived by her children, John Alan Lambert and his wife Ginger; brothers, Dalton Wallace, Ladon Wallace, Darry Wallace and his wife Georgia; sister, Glynda Wallace Rutland and her husband Harold; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Drummond.  Grand-children, Paul Lambert and his wife Katy; Eric Lambert and his wife Kimmy; Amanda Rodgers; and Brittany Heim; great-grandchildren, Luisa Lambert and Jack Lambert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
