Mr. Billy Joe Braswell, 60, of Jayess, Mississippi passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello. He was born February 12, 1962 in Monticello, Mississippi to L.J. and Elaine Stephens Braswell.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello with funeral services beginning at 2:00 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow in the Providence Cemetery, Jayess, Mississippi.  Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Thames Braswell, and by one daughter Chelsey Michaela Parish (Lester) of Soso, Mississippi. He is also survived by his mother, Elaine Braswell of Jayess; one sister, Hope Schilling (Ronald) of Monticello, and his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, L.J. Braswell and his grandparents.
