Bernes Glen Calcote Sr., was called home from this life on Thursday March 29, 2018, at his residence in Jayess, Ms. Glen was born February 28, 1938 in Jayess Ms.

Glen was retired from pipe line construction after 45 years as a side boom operator. After retirement he enjoyed going to cow sales, tending to his cows and horses, planting large gardens, going to church, and spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, which he had a nickname for each and everyone.

Proceeded in death are his parents Barney Hugh Calcote and Donnis Marie King Calcote, and his grandson Dana-Paul Clifton Dunn.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Diane Boutwell Calcote of Jayess, Ms; 6 children, Selena(Dana) Dunn, Glenda Calcote, Bernes Glen(A.J.) Calcote,Jr., Vicki Calcote, David(Michelle) Calcote, and Shannon(Bubba) Young. His grandchildren Misty Grayson, Dana-Paul Clifton Dunn, Mandy Dunn Roberts, Lin-D Calcote, Leanna Calcote Neal, Shelby Jo Williamson, David Shane Calcote Jr., Levi Calcote, Tyson Calcote, Clint Calcote, Michaela Young, and Chas Young; and 6 great-grandchildren, Caden Grayson, Claire Grayson, Callie Grayson, Carson Roberts, Cabey Roberts, and Swayze Bowman.
