Mr. Barney Lewis Jordan, 81, of Silver Creek, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born November 26, 1939 in Lawrence County to Walter and Maxie Mae Hemphill Jordan.

A visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 15 from 11:00 AM until funeral services at 2:00 PM in the Wilson Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Roberts Memorial Cemetery in Jayess. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Jordan was a member of New Life Church of Monticello and a long-time employee of Spooner Petroleum.

He is survived by his children; Gary Jordan (Angela) of Monticello, Sherry Davis (Joe) of Brookhaven, Mississippi, and Terry Jordan (Leigh Ann) of Ruth, and by one sister – Janice Jordan of Silver Creek. Mr. Jordan also leaves behind six grandchildren; Evan Lawrence (Carla), Brandon Jordan (Lisha), Karlie Jordan, Jordan Davis, Abigail Davis, and Breonna Jordan; three step-grandchildren, Kylie Coates, Austin Coates, and Belle Honea; and one great-grandchild, Lynlee Anna Lawrence.

Mr. Barney was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary "Kay" King Jordan, as well as his three brothers Earl Jordan, Tom Jordan, and Kenny Jordan.
