Barbara Crosby Garrett, 90, of Sontag, Mississippi passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Barbara was born December 3, 1933, in Sontag, MS to George Louis Crosby and Jessie Harris.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10 from 1:30 until funeral services at 2:30 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, MS. Graveside services will follow at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Sontag. Bro. Jimmy Smith will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Garrett is survived by her son, Stephen Judson Garrett and wife Johanna Garrett. Two grandchildren: Anna Brock and Leah Garrett, along with two great-grandchildren: Emily Pique and Jacob Marshall. Her sister, Carolyn Case Boleware. Her sisters-in-law: Annette Crockett, Rachel Ryan, Betty Martin, Linda Garrett, and Ann Crosby. Brother-in-law: Irvin Garrett. Nieces/Nephews: Terri Pogue, husband Tony and their children Micah Pogue, Jessie Pogue, Jerah Pogue, and Rayah Pogue. Leslie Hill and family. Garland Boleware and family. Bridget Brock and family. Barbara is preceded in death by: her stepfather, Ras Case and her beloved husband, Luther Leonard Garrett. Her siblings: George Kenneth Crosby, Dennis Case, Katherine Case, and Lucile Case King. Her nephews: George Crosby, David Crosby, Bob Barham, and Pete Barham.
