Services for Angela Darlene Calcote will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11:00AM at Tilton Unitited Methodist Church and Burial will follow in Tilton Cemetery in Jayess, MS wilth Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Reverend Kevin Trantham and Reverend Joey Faulk will officiate and Patsy Sandifer will be speaking.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 5:00 PM till 9:00PM at Wilson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Calcote, 54 died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her residence in Jayess, MS. She was born Wednesday, March 8, 1961 in Tylertown, MS.

Angela was a very outgoing person and achieved many things in her 54 years. She attended Southwest Mississippi Junior College, Southern University of Mississippi and received her Masters from Louisiana State University. She worked in the Lawrence County Public School since August 1990 - January 2015. She held many different job titles from Elementary School Teacher, Principal of Topeka Tilton Attendance Center, Federal Programs Director at Administrative Office and in 2012 she became Director of the Lawrence County Technology & Career Center. Angela was an active member of Tilton United Methodist Church as long as her health would allow her to be. She was a board member and former Chairman of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and was the Atwood Music Festival Chairman, the Chairman of the Monticello Christmas Parade and served on the Civic Center Winter Gala committee. Even though Angela was involved in so many things she still had time for family and friends and will be missed by all.

She is preceeded in death by her father Everett Coon.
She is survived by her husband, Barney Calcote Jr.; Son, Cody and wife Cori Calcote;daughter Hannah Calcote her mother Beverly Russell, two grandchildren Tyne and Truss Calcote all of Jayess, MS; and a brother Todd Coon of Monticello.

Pallbearers - Danny Williamson, Kenny Graves, David Coon, Wally Givens, Harold Griffith, Timmy Coon and Christopher Coon.
