Alice "Allie" Rebbacca Barkley, 25, a resident of Monticello, MS, died December 17, 2013 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born December 16, 1988 in McComb, MS to Earl Barkley and Deloris "Sissy" Buchanan Barkley, both of whom survive her.
Allie was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Monticello. Allie always had a smile and loved to visit with company. One of her favorite things to do was to go to Camp Jabber Jaw at Mississippi State. She loved camping and motorcycle riding with her friends from ABATE.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elzy and Cathern Buchanan and Betty Barkley.
Visitation will be held from Friday, Dec. 20 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church of Monticello. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Monticello City Cemetery.
Allie is survived by her parents, Earl and Sissy Barkley of Monticello; two brothers, Chris Barkley of Flowood, MS & Vic Barkley and his wife Denise of Silver Creek, MS; one sister, Amy Jackson and her husband Matt of Brookhaven, MS; her grandfather, Chuck Barkley of Silver Creek; her Uncles and Aunts, Kenny Barkley and wife Lea; Sheila Goodwin, Jean Buchanan, Deb Boyd and husband Wade, Mavis Lambert and husband Johnny, and Steve Buchanan and wife Pam. Allie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Monticello, MS
