Mrs. Alice Glinda Harvey, 72, was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 7, 2015 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Mrs. Harvey was born April 9, 1943 to Mr. James Stamps and Mrs. Mary Alice Hedgepeth Stamps.

Visitation will be at Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello, MS on Sunday May 10, 2015 from 3:00 PM till 7:00 PM and continue Monday, May 11, 2015 from 9:00 AM till time of service at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church in the Sontag community. The graveside service will follow in the Hepzibah Cemetery. Rev. Ed King will officiate the services. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Glinda was a longtime school bus driver, business owner, and homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to paint, garden, fish, and spent her life nurturing her family.

Mrs. Glinda is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert Joe Harvey; son, Robert Joe Harvey II (Little Joe) and brother, Robbie Stamps.

She is survived by her brothers, Ken Stamps, Kevin Stamps; daughters, Tammy Joe Smith and Tanya Lee Gros; grandchildren, Jessica Ann Cobb, Alison Lois Parker, Abby Gail Roper, Samantha May Smith, Joe Harvey Hoffmann, Jake Steven Hoffmann, and Jenna Kathryn Lewis; great-grandchildren, Skylynn Michelle Parker, Sydney Brook Dwyer, Savannah Ann Parker, Spencer Alan Nicholas, Zoey Rayne Cobb, Tony "TJ" Parker Jr. and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Joe Hoffmann, Jake Hoffmann, David Lewis, Robert Cobb, Matthew Gros, and Tony Parker.
Honorary Pallbearers Jamie Stamps, Cas Stamps, Ted Dwyer, Ryan Brashear, and Steven Tucker.
