It is with much sadness that the family of Alice Dell Cliburn announces that she gained her wings and flew away to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

She was born Wednesday, June 19, 1940 in Monticello, MS to Mr. Estus Steen and OIa May Steen.  She was married to James W. Cliburn for 49 years. He was also from Monticello.

Mrs. Cliburn was a homemaker. She loved the Lord and studying His word. Alice was also an avid reader and was known by her smile and that she loved to talk.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Wanilla Baptist Church in 997 Smith Ferry Road, Monticello, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM, with a visit time starting at 10 AM at Wanilla Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Wanilla Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello, MS. Bro. Jeff Vosbrink will officiate. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-587-2573

Grandma Dell, as she was called by her 6 grandchildren, and 10 great grands, loved all of her kids.

She was preceded in death by her husban, James Wesley Cliburn; father, Estus B Steen; mother, Ola May Horn; grandchildren, Corey Baldwin, Wesley Baldwin.

Survivors include her son, Jamie Dale Cliburn (Olga) of Summit, MS; daughter, Rebecca Cliburn Hearn (Steve) of Monticello, MS; grandchildren, Christopher Baldwin, Gordon Cliburn, Summer Cliburn and Lidia Cliburn; great grandchildren, Carlee Baldwin, Maylee Baldwin, Carson Baldwin, Lauren Baldwin, Baylee Baldwin, Ellie Kate Baldwin, Wesley Baldwin, Case Cliburn and Ella Cliburn.
