Funeral services for Alford M. Speights, 81, will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Old Silver Creek Baptist Church in Silver Creek, MS. Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2017 from 5:00PM till 9:00 PM at Old Silver Creek, MS.
Alford Speights, of Silver Creek, passed from this life on October, 16, 2017, at in his residence. He was born on May 5, 1936.

Mr. Speights worked for Marley Cooling Towers for 28 years, he retired from Lawrence County District 5 as a road foreman, and he was a life-long hay farmer. Alford was most proud of being a Paw-Paw and pride in spoiling all of them.
He is survived by his son Steve Speights and wife Judy; 3 grandchildren Shain, Phillip, David Speights; 13 great children Tate, Skyler, Zoey, Mia, Gracie, Peyton, Aiden, Mackenie, Madison, Maylee, Jathan and SJ; one brother Jerry Speights and wife Becky.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Ina Polk Speights; wife Joyce Maline McGrew Speights; two brothers Robert and Belford Speights.
